by accessing or using this tool, you agree to these terms of service. if you do not agree, please do not use this tool.
this tool provides a means to save and sync short-form memos across a variety of different platforms, including the linux command line interface and your cellphone (if you choose to opt-in to mrndm linkphone). these terms govern your access to and use of the tool.
you must be at least 13 years old to use this tool. by creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
to save memos, you must create an account using a username and password of your choosing.
you are responsible for:
maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
all activity that occurs under your account
i am not responsible for losses caused by unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure your account.
you retain ownership of any content you save as a memo.
you understand that:
memos are encrypted and stored securely and are not viewable by anyone but yourself
content you choose to store in your memos is stored at your own discretion
you agree not to use the tool to:
submit or save unlawful, abusive, or harmful content
distribute malware or attempt to disrupt the site
attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems
i reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
i may remove memos or disable accounts if i believe, in good faith, that doing so is necessary to:
comply with the law
enforce these terms
no moderation system is perfect, and enforcement decisions are final.
you may delete your account at any time.
i may suspend or terminate accounts if these terms are violated. upon termination:
access to your account will be revoked
your memos will be deleted, unless i am required to retain them to comply with the law
the tool is provided on an “as is” basis.
i do not guarantee that the tool will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. features may change, be removed, or be discontinued at any time.
to the fullest extent permitted by law, i will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the tool.
these terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which i operate, without regard to conflict of law principles.
these terms may be updated from time to time. continued use of the tool after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
mrndm linkphoneput explicitly: by linking your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from mrndm. message and data rates may apply. messages will only ever be sent as a response to user input. reply STOP to opt out. See the above terms and our privacy policy for more information. we do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

mrndm linkphone is a phone-based implementation of mrndm.sh wherein your memos can be saved and retrieved via texting from a linked phone number. should you choose to participate, you'll initially register your phone number with the database via a confirmation code sent by calling the command mrndm linkphone from the command line. once linked, you can subsequently send or retrieve memos from your phone.
you can cancel mrndm.sh's s.m.s. service at any time. just text STOP to the number. after you send STOP to us, we will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. after this, you will no longer receive messages from us. if you want to join again, please opt in the same way you did the first time.

carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
as always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. you will receive precisely as many messages as you send - mrndm linkphone will never send you an unprompted message. if you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
mobile information will not be shared or sold to third parties for marketing/promotional purposes.
